This product is the perfect replacement for our refrigerator water filter system. The same that the company originally used in the device.

This cartridge is the same as the brand but a lot cheaper. Goes easily into our water and keeps it fresh. I'll start auto-delivery so I know in advance when it's time to change something.

My water tastes much better after replacing the old filter. I thought it was a little tricky to install. I had to twist the old one so badly I thought I would break the fridge. This is more of a Kitchenaid issue than a filter issue.

Worked great, removed the old one and replaced it. These things are just damn expensive so not sure what "value" is. I take it you get a lot of water for $40 for six months? Made it a little less painful by adding it to the Subscribe and Save section.

The basic installation instruction is to run two gallons of water through the filter before removing the OLD filter using the in-door faucet. Moved to a new home with Whirlpool French Door fridge. The ice and water dispenser didn't work. I wasn't sure what the problem was but started changing the water filter as there was an error about the need to change the filter.
