Beats Backpack - Hip Packs

I bought this backpack to use for mountain biking and gravel. Pole pockets aren't made for blue and black runs - they bounce. The shoulder bag fell abruptly, throwing me off balance. This backpack tightened tight and didn't move under load while cycling. I used it more strategically with a pole bag for a 25 mile gravel ride. My Thoughts: 1. Very comfortable - barely noticeable even when fully loaded.2. Larger water bottles don't work as well and will cling to the jacket3. Super adjustableโ€ฆ

Good Enough - Hip Packs

While looking for a mountain bike hip pack I bought both the Evoc Hip Pack Pro and the Osprey Savu 5. The Evoc Hip Pack Pro offers more storage space than the Osprey Savu 5. The Osprey has a key ring clip in the main compartment, Evoc places the clip in the more accessible zippered side pocket(s). The Evoc waist belt is more comfortable and can be adjusted for some elastic tension. Osprey bottle cages make it a lot easier to load bottles while riding. Evoc places the empty bottle in theโ€ฆ

Good for a waist pack, although I can't recommend a good bag

My first fanny pack. I tend to ride pretty tough trails where I ride my bike all over the place so I was skeptical. The fit is generally good, I can mostly forget about it when riding, no poking or pinching. But when the bladder is full, it becomes noticeably heavy and flabby, otherwise I have to tighten the waist belt so tight I suffocate. I can't imagine who would ride with water bottles strapped on, looks like it actually causes terrible sag and wobble (but maybe it's ok on slick trails?)โ€ฆ

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • The list will be long.

High quality bag for Bigfoot

The bag looks good, is well thought out overall and looks/feels like it will last. . He likes to fall at the wrong moment and tries to get lost. This can easily be remedied with a zip tie, but for something so simple, it seems like a major oversight in product design. This bag is HUGE. It can be a backpack but without the comfort and support of a backpack. As you fill your bladder, the pouch turns into a huge, uncomfortable lump that presses into your lower back. It gets a lot better when youโ€ฆ

It's a fanny pack for your bum

So far I've been happy with it. I went biking and kayaking with him. It was nice for cycling because my back doesn't get so hot and sweaty. However, the summer this year was cooler and wetter than usual. When I ride a downhill bike, it bounces more than I would like. The camel back with waist belt makes for a more streamlined ride, but when I'm pedaling more I like the breathability. The extra elastic lining behind the buckle is a bit long for me, but I'm slimmer. I'm going to crop it somehowโ€ฆ

  • Great design

Great but I hate the a la carte prices

Definitely the best hydro waist pack. I have tried many other well known brands. This one does 2 things better - stay in place and keep the water cool and insulated. I did this on a 4 hour bike ride in the Texas summer heat and the water stays cold the entire time. Another thing is that it's light enough that your back doesn't sweat. You hardly notice that he is with you. Also, unlike other waist packs I've tried, it doesn't slide down while you wear it. I think it's because it has a velcroโ€ฆ

not disappointed but one thing could be changed.

I've been tossing and turning between this fanny pack (let's be honest, it's just a cool fanny pack, whatever you call it) and Dakine Hot Laps. Both packages received high ratings and an equal number of negatives. I've watched a lot of videos on YouTube. This Evo is more expensive but worth the money in my opinion. Pros: First of all, the backpack feels and looks like it has a high quality finish. I'm used to carrying a backpack for hydration, so carrying everything in a fanny pack bothered me;

10 times better than CamelBack

Less sweat on the back than CamelBack, large volume for almost everything. Zimmer, but when I could even handle a wind cut with my tools and personal belongings... that's when I realized he's doing a great job.

Pros
  • AIRFLOW CONTACT SYSTEM ensures perfect back ventilation
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
