I just used these excel wheels on a model project I was working on. Well I'm not a fan of these but this is my first set and I need to look at other brands. When you quilt paper, this is an indispensable tool. No more sewing along the lines to make sure it's easy to tear or use small stitches. Simply guide the stamp along the seam line with a ruler or by hand. I fold the edge of the base and sew along the crease. I've always either sewn on (without thread) or manually punched holes along the lines to make it easier to fold neatly. This tool makes everything superfluous! I only use a perforator. Like it a lot. I bought these for transferring patterns onto wood in various carvings and puzzles. They are sharp and come in three nice sizes. One wheel was misaligned when I opened the package and it took me a lot of work to fix it. The pan bolts that go through the wheel to hold it to the handle are slotted for the bolts after assembly for some reason. The one with the problem was too loose and the wheel wobbled horribly from side to side. I took some small pliers and was able to grab the head of the screw
