Slight modification needed, but works good

On one end it wouldn't reach to give power to my power bank. Took like 4 mins to trim off extra rubber w/ a razor blade, then it worked as it should.What's super cool is I no longer have to climb up/ down my RV ladder

Great quality product.

I needed an extension cord from my solar panel to my Jackery 1000. This worked perfectly. It's Plug and Play. I may by another one so I can move my Solar panel where the sun is and leave my Jackery out of the sun.

Is not compatible with 2020 model Jackery 500

Looks to be very good quality. Unfortunately it does not work with 2020-21 model Jackery 500. Male end will not connect.

Works great. Just wish it wasn't so loose on my anker power core

The only problem I have with this is that it's loose on my Anker powercore 400. I have other power stations that have 8mm to 5521 adapters and those adapters fit snugly, so I think it's just the Anker power core that has this loose port.

Does not fit Thunderbolt Solar kit.

The cord looked to be well done and ready for outdoor use. It simply didn’t plug into my system. That was my only disappointment with the product.

Will not work with my Jackery 1500.

The ad said this extension cable would work with a Jackery solar generator. I purchased the cable, only to be disappointed by the fitment on both ends of their cable. Cable was returned, will not work with my Jackery generator.

Trim plastic for fit

Tip: if you are using for a Jackery 300 you need to trim off a little plastic on the female end with a razor. Very easy. Works great.

Doesn't work with my Jackery 1500

Connections are not correct, even when plugged into the Jackery solar panel adapter. Jackery adapter plugged directly into the generator works just fine. Seem to be well made, though. Too bad I have no other use for it.

Thick wire for a 16 gauge

The wire is a lot thicker than I was expecting for a 16 gauge wire as it says in the description. I tested it against a goal zero 30 foot 8mm and found both to have exactly the same efficiency. That said I don’t mind the wire thick but would expect it to outperform goal zeros 30 foot wire considering it’s 20 feet in length. I still like the wire over all. It uses soft insulation and folds nicely letting you configure the wire as you please.

  • The extension cable works great with the solar generator and makes it more usable. Very nice!
Cons
  • Should have read before purchase. This does not work with newer Jackery models. Completely useless.

Unreliable connectivity

I used this to extend my cord from a Jackery 500 to a Solar Saga. It was a constant nagging weak link in a month long tour of the American West. Before leaving I tested it a few times to confirm it worked and didn’t diminish the output from the panel to an unacceptable degree. Worked just fine and I knew I’d have enough solar to keep me off grid.Within the first few days of the trip I used it for the first time and noticed neither the male end of my panel’s cord, nor that of my 12volt vehicle…

Works well with my Jackery 1000 with minimal loss.

I purchased two of these to use with my new Jackery 1000 and the two Jackery solar panels I purchased. They work perfectly for placing my charger out of the Sun when charging with the panels.

Retraction-cable is now working fine.

Cable has no conectivity on the central wire. However, Jackery suggested that I run just one 100W solar panel to the Jackery 1000 and that did the trick. The cable is working fine now. I do not know why it showed no connectivity on the central wire when I tested it. So I have given the Seller 5 Star rating.
