Leaks .:>) for wine corks and pourers

I thought this item was pretty good at first until I realized it was leaking. Every time I open the fridge I hear the sound "Shu-uu". I never amplified this noise in ref. So I checked where and then I found my champagne leaked. I don't think it's for sparkling drinks. I have another company and it's really tight. This end is too small not to run away from. So a regular drink might be fine, but the flavor will be lost over time. I think they should make a bigger ending to fix this problem.

NOT for carbonated drinks unless the bottle has a small opening.

I bought them to keep the champagne fresh but they are too small to seal tightly. If you pinch the stopper, you can easily pull it out with little effort. That means it will run for a couple of hours, but as soon as the pressure in the bottle is restored, it will leak. Good for wine maybe. I have tried them in bottles of different brands with beer and they are too small. I've used others my grandma had that worked great but not sure about the brand. If anyone has a better suggestion, please let

Fits 3/4 " opening bottles ONLY

I have been looking for airtight closures for some standard wine bottles as well as various other beverage and spice bottles. The product description here is:* VERSATILE - Use it for sealing bottled water, wine, beer, champagne, vinegar, oil and more. This statement is misleading. For bottles with openings very close to 3/4" (many but not all non-sparkling wines) it will provide a good seal. Have it on Tried bottles of vinegar, oil, coffee syrup, champagne, soft drinks and other bottles and…

The best corks for wine (not champagne) I've ever bought.

I've bought these 3 times in over 5 years (sometimes I lose them hiking or bringing bottles to friends). They are NOT suitable for champagne or anything else with the same bubble/pressure but they are fantastic for wine, juice and very lightly carbonated drinks. I've never had a single breakage or leak even when the bottle fell in the fridge. I just wish they were in more colors and/or I could choose colors. The last order I received was all red, while we drink more white and we have a lot of…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Perfect for Pellegrino bottles

I don't drink but I have an irresistible addiction to Pellegrino and glass bottles don't reseal. It does a fantastic job of keeping the bottle fully sealed and I don't lose any fizz or get a "stale" taste when I use the bottle again a day or two later. The devices themselves are simple and solid, and I've had no trouble using them. Cleaning is easy as I only use it with water. I'm not sure how difficult it would be to clean the gummies if used with wine stored horizontally. The only "trick"…

Works great, hard to find!

I love these Joie bottle caps! I mainly use them for Topo Chico and Tonic and they fit perfectly in these bottles. Summer!) I try to eat one at a time. It's either that or a margarita. I use these bottle caps from Joie to keep my blender bubbly the next night. They work great! I gave it as a gift and everyone loves it, my father in law just asked where I got it so I bought it too! Hard to find in stores, but Revane comes to the rescue again! Now I can't live without her! If this review was…

Print with confidence! See for yourself

A good way to test a bottle cap is to remove the foil or label from the neck of an empty bottle, preferably a clear one. Insert the cork, then look all the way around for a seal or interface between the cork and the bottle. The results for the Joie brand were pretty impressive: nearly 1/4 inch all around! For comparison, I ran the same test on some standard corks I bought from a liquor store years ago and they barely formed a tight seal, less than 1/16 inch at their widest point. (I've used…
