The material/make of the product is good. The size however is the key as the text can be unreadable on smaller ones. Could potentially distract from homework or more important educational tasks!

Adorable, educational, large-sized placemat. My 3 year old daughter loves it! We are teaching her the states of the U.S. during mealtime and having a blast. Holds up against crayon and stickers, washes easily in the sink.

These are great. I have been working with my two granddaughters ages 2 1/2 and four helping them learn the states. They already know half of them. They love this placemat. They can show off all they know and it makes them happy.

This arrived promptly, well-packaged and was exactly as described. I bought it for someone overseas who'd requested something of this nature and, with it's visual display of characteristic features of each of the 50 states, it was the perfect gift for her. Purchased for my geography-loving seven year old. Arrived yesterday, only to find that many of the names for African, European and Asian countries (as well as most of the southern Caribbean) can't even be read. The print is too small. Enterprising kid has a magnifying glass . breaks that out only to find that the resolution on the printing is so low, the smaller names just look like black lines. Great quality material. This is NOT just a laminated photo. The back is grippy enough to stay put but not sticky. The map is colorful and vibrant. Translucent enough for light to pass through from the back. My son loves it and has been carrying it around for the past 3 days. Durable.

I bought this for my four year old grandson, and he loves it. I can show him where other relatives live in the US, so he can now see exactly how far away or close they are. Love the non slip back, and it is easy to clean. I would recommend this to anyone!

Delivered quickly; good quality; map is educational with fun illustrations for young kids. The "non-slip" backing doesn't really keep it from slipping, more just makes it not slip quite as easily, but this partly would depend on the surface of your table. Overall a great placemat!
