💦 Efficient Express Water Reverse Membrane Replacement: Ensuring Pure and Clean Water Review

Received the Ro membrane yesterday and installed it today September 18th. I was a little hesitant to order due to the bad reviews but I hurried anyway, so far I've followed the instructions on how to properly replace the Ro membrane and it works as intended. I'm getting a reading of 5ppm on my TDS. And that's after the second full reset. So right now I'm very happy

This worked the same as the membrane that came with my Pure-flo II filter. In fact, the original membrane in my Coralife filter was a conventional membrane (CSM from Korea) just like this one. I don't really think there is much of a difference between membranes other than price. After installing Express Water One and other new media, my PPM showed 2-4 PPM with tap water containing around 280 PPM. I recommend this membrane, especially considering the price compared to the "named".

When we bought the house I inherited a reverse osmosis system and I am new to reverse osmosis. Our system was assembled by a local shop. Many of these membranes cost $40 or $50. are they better I have no idea. All I can tell you is that our water tastes better and the flow rate has increased. The product came in a nice sealed box with cardboard! Not the OEM that originally came with my Coralife reverse osmosis system! The CME was the original but for the price I think it was the best buy! The time will show! Fits in perfectly! Hope this helped! Update, I've had it for 4 months and my ppm are going up so I know it needs to be replaced which has me throwing away a lot of DI resin which isn't cheap either! Thought it would last a little longer as the original only lasted about 2 years!

UPDATE: There was a user error. Finally came to troubleshoot and it had a bad connector. it works as it should, taste and deposits have improved. Ignore the bad review I had. We have a 5 level system. I replaced the stage 1-3 filters as they should have been. Everything was great. Then a week later I considered replacing the membrane and charcoal flavor filter with new ones (both from this company) as I was still fiddling with the system. Big mistake. This is a reliable and inexpensive filter, but there's something you don't need to worry about when you don't have water flow: there isn't enough and the tank isn't filling up with water. The elimination process led me to the air valve at the bottom of the tank. Could there be so much pressure that it's preventing the water from filling the tank? Despite the seller's comments, this item is NOT "universally compatible with most reverse osmosis systems". Unfortunately I waited too long to install it to get it back (30 days). I have a Watts 525 5 stage reverse osmosis system. I replaced a Dow Filmtec TW30-1812-50 TFC membrane (the Express Water element is a few dollars less). Big mistake.
