UPDATE: There was a user error. Finally came to troubleshoot and it had a bad connector. it works as it should, taste and deposits have improved. Ignore the bad review I had. We have a 5 level system. I replaced the stage 1-3 filters as they should have been. Everything was great. Then a week later I considered replacing the membrane and charcoal flavor filter with new ones (both from this company) as I was still fiddling with the system. Big mistake. Terrible water taste even after draining many gallons. My wife complains about the unpleasant oily taste of the water. There is no reverse osmosis (Phoenix has very hard water). All our plates and water tanks now have mineral deposits etc. The 18 month old membrane and filter did a much better job.
