Don't be fooled by the message. This product doesn't come with a carrying case that says it does, but it doesn't! The only positive thing I can say are the crocodile clips that you can screw onto the test leads, otherwise don't buy them!

Mine was bought in 2012 so I think this defect has been fixed. If/when the case is taken apart it will not reassemble properly as the plastic parts hit the capacitors. As I said, 2012. It's 2015 now. My next one will have two flexible wires and won't use the gauge's nose as the wire.

This is a cheap product so don't expect much. I bought it mainly to check continuity because it beeps when you have continuity. Unfortunately, the volume of the sound indicator is so low that you can't hear it unless you're in a completely quiet room and close to your ear. Forget about using it on a construction site when you need an audible indicator.

This is a very useful article, you may not need it every day but you will be glad to have it for basic checking. I'm not going to replace it with a full-size multimeter, but the features it has in a small package make it more than worth it. I usually keep mine in the car. The only downside is that it doesn't have a backlight, otherwise I'd give it a five out of five.

Excellent device. It's ideal if you don't want or need to connect a $5,000-$10,000 Hewlett-Packard digital microvoltmeter with a data sampling rate of 500,000 samples per second. Remember to always use Energizer lithium batteries in this device. I have never seen batteries of this brand leak and cause damage. I NEVER use Duracell. This slightly different model is beautiful.

This thing says it has a reliable non-contact voltage sensor - don't bet your life on it. i will return it This thing doesn't go with the $5 voltage detector I have. I was going to post a video but take my word for it. Don't bet your life on this thing. It works very sporadically and you have to keep the button pressed. I just like being able to get my detector online if it works and I know it. Really don't get it.
