Mine was bought in 2012 so I'm guessing it .

Mine was bought in 2012 so I think this defect has been fixed. If/when the case is taken apart it will not reassemble properly as the plastic parts hit the capacitors. As I said, 2012. It's 2015 now. My next one will have two flexible wires and won't use the gauge's nose as the wire.
