Affordable Relative Humidity Meter

This instrument works well and seems accurate for measuring relative humidity. It breaks easily after a few uses, so it cannot be used in the field. Ideal for homeowners.

Cons

Breaks too easily. best parts and accessories

When I received the item it worked very well and lasted a few days while I worked. Then this thing just died inside me. Tried replacing the batteries, didn't help. I returned it to Revain in lieu of a better, more advanced model.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Good but not great

Very poor quality and finish

Very poor quality and finish. Unreliable and inaccurate readings for commercial applications. Reports the variable temperature in a room. It is also difficult to create a base. I had to go back. Two stars because I expect this to work well for non-commercial settings.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Only available in white

Very quick reading: parts and accessories

I got one of these humidity/temp knobs a few years ago while attending a science seminar. Now I often use it to measure the humidity and temperature outside to determine if I should open the windows or turn on the air conditioning. Although my three measuring pins do not match exactly, I take this difference into account when measuring. They measure surprisingly quickly.

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • unreliable

Overall a great tool. Just two small flaws.

I have been using this device for several years and I am satisfied with it. Pros: - Inexpensive - Easy to use - Battery lasts a long time - Very easy to take with you anywhere Cons: - Sensors take a while to get to the actual measurement, not very suitable for very quick measurements - Buttons protrude from the body so they can squeeze when the device is in the pocket or with other things. After all, it easily turns itself on (see image).

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Security

Decent product - humidifier parts and accessories

I bought this product to use with dew point charts. The buttons are easy to use and the pen quickly measures temperature and relative humidity, although I have questioned the results on more than one occasion. The body is solid, but the sensor on the tip of my pen dangles and touches the sides, which may not be typical. The small spare battery in the watch only lasted five months with little to no use. Despite the weaker aspects, I think the tool works great for gathering information where a…

Cheap and convenient

Need a temp/humidity meter to use with my moisture meter for the initial site assessment after water damage. Bought it because it's cheap and cheap. I have two problems with it: 1) it turns on (and stays on) in the case because the buttons are very sensitive so sometimes the batteries die when I barely use it; 2) The clip on the back almost breaks off on the first try to attach it to something. But it does what it's supposed to and works as expected. I just need to keep extra batteries in my…
