4.5 stars, must come with an adapter for normal coaxial cable (LiftMaster LA400)

Works great, greatly improved range performance for my LiftMaster LA400 entrance gate. Only complaint is that there was no adapter in the box for a full size coax - does the included adapter convert it to a screw cap socket? - Not quite sure how that would be useful.

Extended Range - Audio & Video Accessories

My original Mighty Mule gate opener antenna typically required you to be within 35 feet of the antenna in order to function. Some days he wasn't working at 15 feet. I live on a farm so the house is 440 feet from the gate. With this antenna and cable I was able to mount it above the control box and on the side. The remote can now open the gate from inside the house which is 440 feet from the antenna and gate. This is a significant improvement in range.

This antenna really works!

This antenna works great with my powerful Mule 572w gate opener. The factory antenna on my opener was awful and very frustrating because sometimes I had to get out of the car and walk straight towards it. Some reviews of this antenna say it doesn't work...not in my case. Sometimes my gates open at 100 feet now!

No improvement over the stock antenna

I bought this particular model based on its reviews and not the other two models. I was hoping based on the significant improvements other customers have experienced in their range of gate openers. Once installed I didn't see any noticeable increase in the range of the standard gate opener - a clear lot line and I still had to get about 15 yards closer to my gate for it to work. I will return it and try something else.
