Good price, works

My expectations were low, but they were exceeded. Nothing special, but it works. It has an external power connector with a micro USB connector, which is handy. The cable that comes with it is awfully short LOL but most of us already have several suitable cables. It is very convenient to have a built-in memory card reader. It sets up straight away with Windows 10, and Media Player even asked me if I needed to rip the CD to a memory card as soon as I launched it.

A good product is like good service.

Highly recommended. Never lose important data, storage, transmission, etc. again. But the best data is saved forever. Not for Mac, iOS or other regions. Very valuable in data, movies, images, etc. Cheap, simple and fast item, but valuable in time. Therefore, everyone should entertain it for their work, family and past, present and future in memory, law and fun.

So far so good: Optical drives

I bought this drive to add my large CD collection to my iTunes library. I've also used it to watch DVDs. The drive is purely "plug and play" for a Mac computer. Just plug in the USB port and it's ready to use. It is powered by the USB port, so it drains the laptop battery. So far I haven't had any problems recognizing and using the hard drive. The driver is pretty thin. I wish the USB cable was longer. I haven't tried burning a CD or DVD, but playback is fine.

Surprise for CD and DVD drives

This is a fantastic external drive at a great price. I copy all my DVDs to an old laptop (that doesn't have a disc drive) that I use as a Kodi media server. I copied over a terabyte of data and this drive kept working. It's quite noisy when reading discs, you can definitely hear it oscillating up and down. It hasn't crashed yet though, so I can deal with the noise. Two hundred films have been copied so far and if it survives the remaining few hundred I will be happy to buy it. I'll copy a few…

Not as pictured in Computers & Accessories

I bought this unit because the product description said I could watch DVDs - I specifically wanted this unit to watch exercise DVDs. After I plugged it into my new laptop, it played the music DVD, but I couldn't get it to play the video DVD. I installed the product offered in the box and it didn't work. I did a lot of troubleshooting. The only thing that worked in the end was buying a Windows DVD player, which added another $16 to the purchase. I have to report that Revain sent me a card offer…
