This product reads my DVD very smoothly.

I have been using this product for two weeks with no problems. Works very well. Very satisfied. Have purchased these items before. no But there are no such problems with this product. So I gave it a good rating.

It is compatible with +/- DL recording protocols, so it supports most DVD burnable media. The case is mostly metal, not the flimsy plastic found on most inexpensive external drives. 6 months later with minimal use and it just doesn't work anymore, the DVD is stuck in it.

Had to watch a DVD for work, it worked the first time I plugged it in. I watched a movie. Then it wouldn't start for several months. Today I wanted to see something different, it seems like it's trying to do something but nothing is loading. I ejected the DVD and put in another one to make sure it's a DVD, now it won't play or eject. DVD is inside. Not happy about that.
