Extra Female Stacking Header Raspberry Review

The pins on this header were much stronger and stiffer than other headers I've bought. The headers also came in a nice protective plastic box, not just a plastic bag.

Worked great for what I wanted by stacking a bunch of PiCAN boards. Of course, the most interesting thing was modifying some of the PiCAN boards so that their choice and IRQ didn't conflict, but that's a story for another day.

I prefer to use larger heatsinks on my boards, especially when using passive cooling. These headers give me the extra room I need to clear out, as well as a little more room for airflow. They've worked well for everything I've used them for so far.

I use a Pimoroni tilt/tilt hat with my RPi +4B but wanted to be able to fit a case with a to use fans. This bus extender did the trick and placed the HAT high enough above the Rpi case so it wouldn't block the fan. A very good buy.

These are really good stacking connectors. Very strong and very tall, ideal for HAT boards with larger and taller components. What impressed me the most, at least the ones I got from Helloyee, was that they came in a nice, strong, reusable plastic box and not a flimsy bag. I was afraid they would just be stuffed into a bag where the pins could get bent and/or damaged, but they were very well protected in the box. And at a decent price, even a few cents cheaper than from well-known electronics…
