Much better than the wire that comes with the dog fence!

I bought this to replace the wire that came with my underground dog fence and it's very very good! It has a very thick coating and appears to be very durable. I'll write a review later to see how it held up.

Works with the PetSafe system

I was worried it wouldn't work with the PetSafe transmitter I have, but it worked fine. The wire is definitely larger and better coated than the wire that comes with the system. I believe this wire will be more durable and will last longer than the other wire. The time will show.

Don't worry anymore about dogs leaving the garden because of a broken wire!

Thick wire was just what the doctor ordered. Don't put an underground fence with the cheaper 20 gauge. It will break and you will have to start over. This wire should last a lifetime without worry. A pleasant surprise was that the signal is stronger than that of gauge 20.

This is thick black wire for a dog fence.

If you need to keep your dog fence from breaking because you're too lazy to bury it like me, then this product is for you. I've driven a skid steer over it fifty times and it's worked great. Heck, about 75 tons of earth was dumped on it and my dog still hasn't come out. She also loves going out because she has tons of friends and people who give her treats that she wants to go out on. Also, she's faster than me, so I really need a fence to function. I think if you need the wire for somethingโ€ฆ
