Buy a heavier set on Carts

Do not purchase these if you plan to use them to move a straight snowthrower. 1 tire came off while driving on a cement floor.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Finish
Cons
  • Commercial Availability

Worth the money: industrial trucks

How often you use them depends on how long they last. We move snowmobiles about 20-30 times a year. The wheels will last about 2 years under the track before failing. Since the wheels are all the same, I just mix and match them to swap them out. For the money they work great. If you have a snowmobile then you know that for a dollar amount this is not a big expense.

  • Delivery was very quick

Broken Packaging *EDIT*

*ORIGINAL REVIEW* Received the item and opened the box to find rolling ball bearings. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that they came from one of the wheels. Photos are attached. I only caught 2 bearings, the rest were at the bottom of the box. If they're so cheaply made that they'll get damaged in transit, don't trust them with your 500-600 pound sled. *EDIT* After contacting customer service with photos of the damaged items, they sent a replacement. All parts in the replacement pack lookโ€ฆ

Heaps of absolute rubbish

I've owned them for 5 years. After the first year of use on my sled, going in and out of the garage once or twice a week during the winter, they have completely fallen apart and are now only used as coasters. The wheel bearings are completely depressurized and water flows down the bolts that attach them to the racks and directly onto the balls in the bearings. The only way to keep them from rusting is to repackage the bearings periodically (for the price you could buy a whole new set) or storeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Very expensive

Economical Solution

Used on 99 Polaris XC. At first I was hesitant about buying them or upgrading to the more expensive Extreme Max 5800.0203 kit, my neighbor has one but they cost almost triple the price. I was concerned that the economy set might be of poorer quality than the more expensive set I had borrowed and used in the past. Needless to say, I decided it was worth saving, maybe sacrificing quality. Upon arrival of the product I was immediately impressed with the quality of the product. The skids glidedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Industrial Trucks
Cons
  • No Power
