Necessary peripheral vision is blocked because it's double vision and since I wore glasses they looked workable. They were and worked well. One star removed for ease of use as I had to cut and re-sew a hole to fit the glasses, but I may have larger glasses than usual. Also note that the material they are made of is an unusual synthetic fabric that 'sheds' (develops) loose thread-like pieces that can irritate your eyes. Bought these for my mum who suddenly lost sight in one eye. She puts them on her glasses and they help a lot because she doesn't get stressed trying to use both eyes. She is adjusting to her limited vision and this product is not only easy to use but useful too!

Excellent for blocking most of the light to allow eyes to 'breathe'. However, when purchasing, consider the size of the frame. I bought them to wear several different pairs of my mum's (plastic) frames after surgery and didn't take into account the cat eye frames of one pair and the thicker/wider temples of the sunglasses. I bought these to help a family member who has lost sight in one eye. This is an amazing creation, they slide and they stay. It helps focus and train your brain to use one eye's concentration. It's a lightweight, soft material that helps block out light and distracting movement. Excellent goods! Highly recommended.

My wife currently has double vision and needs a bandage to help her in one eye. These patches were different sizes, but only the larger size would fit her regular glasses.
