As a hesitant buyer, I was impressed by the effectiveness of this small diamond sharpening tool. It's perfect for on-the-go sharpening and produced sharp results in my tests. The compact size also makes it easy to store in my toolbox. While it's a bit pricier than some other options, the quality of the results makes it worth the investment. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone in need of a reliable finishing tool for their Industrial and Scientific needs.

Bought to fix some nicks on some old knives I bought off eBay. It worked great for that. I would suggest thinner grades for most types of sharpening as they remove a lot of metal and don't sharpen the edge.

This is the second time I order EZE LAP pocket stones. They have lasted longer than other retail diamonds. The metal base is more stable. The original ones I ordered had a smooth leather case. Newer ones have a fibrous leather cover that looks like cloth. I'm not a fan of new leather because I use the scabbard as a belt to get a thin edge on the knife. Honing oil has no effect on this sheath. The product comes as advertised and is the perfect sharpening tool. Hope that helps.
