The block is defective. Stuck in IR mode, the image always remains B/W and muddy. I don't know if I can go back because I was delayed in installing it. Best Buy removed the blockage and hardwired a great camera. I do not recommend this device just to save on wiring. My block was broken too.

The transmitter is zipped to the hitch frame under the truck, with the antenna pointing up and away from the nearest metal. My receiver is in the dash so the short output cable reaches my Kenwood head unit.
