🎨 Faber-Castell Albrecht Durer WC Pencils Set of 12: High-Quality Watercolor Pencils for Artists Review

Have these for repainting dolls and after applying sealant it works amazing. I've tried other watercolor pencils and none worked as well as this one. Worth the price

This brand is good quality with good products. I'm not very good with watercolors and I hope to be able to work with them one day. I love creating beauty.

EXCELLENT pencils, excellent color. They actually SHOW what I'm doing, unlike the cheap brands that apply very little paint. Very happy with them - will definitely buy a larger set with more colors if I can afford - well worth it.

I used to love Prima watercolor sets and decided to try their pencils and compare them to Faber Casell's Albrecht Dürer set. All the colors in the Faber set are perfect, but I didn't test white. The pigmentation is rich and they absorb water without much effort. Very happy.

I have these 12 size portable sets from FC for watercolors, colored pencils, colored pastels and quite a few different sized permanent markers. The benefit of this set is that it's super portable - even if you make FC for your pencils - they have the same colors in sets of 12 watercolour, pastel and colored pencils - so you have a great toolbox of colors that mix well let mix, no matter what media you use and mix with each other. Most people I know think of Prismacolor as colored pencils…

Seriously disappointed with them, they didn't live up to their 'Top 2' reputation for me. The tips are hard, which I liked, so not a lot of wax gets onto the paper (a big plus) and the color distribution was very good (the color dissolves completely when activated with water), but the quality of pigments was disappointing. I bought this set to see if I would like them and if so I will be purchasing a full set of 120 pens. I would say they are probably a good option for coloring in a thick page…

Faber Castell is my #1 favorite art supplier. It's somewhere between Faber Castell and Caran D'ache depending on the product, but I think all Faber Castell products are durable, well priced and have high quality control. While Prisma Color is great, we're all fed up with uncensored lead and similar.
