Excellent investment: quality and excellent color.

Bright, easy to use, versatile, one of the best investments an aspiring artist can make in their collection. Albrecht Durür watercolor pencils can be used wet or dry. In comparison, Derwent Inktense needs to be used wet to get the full effect, while Albrecht Durür works both dry and wet (although they work best when activated with water) and are easy to apply in one go. Unlike the rich, creamy Caran d'Ache Neocolor II that I adore, they offer more control and precision on whites and can then be

You are Albrecht Dürer - what NOT to love? Having several brands of watercolor pencils I can say I haven't touched them once since I received them. Why? 1. Pencils go very well, especially on watercolor paper.2. The control of the color result during mixing is almost perfect: a) the absence of uneven pigmentation; b) no need to wash the work area to avoid water stains; c) no fading of the product/color when stacked to effect (unless too much pressure is applied and the paper is damaged), and…

These professional quality watercolor pencils are great. The colors are bright and they are easily activated by water. They can be applied dry to paper and then dampened with a brush, or applied to paper with a pre-dampened pencil, or applied wet to damp paper, or applied by touching with a dampened brush, such as a palette.
