My favorite pen set

I love using these pens for ink and watercolor painting, hand lettering and art journals. Waterproof and versatile with so many springs. What I like best is that when journaling, they don't spread across the page like the shapries do.

  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Expandable

The best drawing pencils! And it's reusable!

Yes, you can refill them. Pull out the top part with plumber's pliers (see picture). Keep in mind how the top is positioned so you don't accidentally close it all the way later when you've finished fueling. sponge tube inside. Using a syringe, draw 10ml of any brand of waterproof mascara, then slowly drip into the sponge tube or until the tip runs out. Then put the top back on and continue with the grip. Make sure you hear a loud pop, it means your pen is sealed. Trust me I have refilled each…

Large selection of pens!

Love these markers! They write a little more gray than black, but that doesn't bother me. The B, SC, and SB pens are more like markers and are a bit flimsy, making them difficult to control or write on, but I suspect they're not meant for writing and are more suited to something that requires less precision and wider hubs. The 1.5 stylus is the boldest and most powerful stylus they offer and other smaller styluses work great too. The ink flows smoothly and I really enjoy using it! This is a…

Best value for money when drawing

This set of pens is ideal for both amateurs and professionals. While professionals have their preferences (and they tend to be expensive), these pens are easy to toss in a pocket or purse and take along with your sketch pad. Their quality is beyond what you could ask for a dollar and change for a pen. So I would advise anyone looking for a starter kit or a travel kit to go for these. Even if you're buying this as a gift for yourself or a loved one, these pens will help the crafter figure out…

It's all there in black and white.

I have used Copic drawing pens and before that Mikron and have been hesitant to switch back to them. I've only had one painting session with this pen set, but I LOVE the feel of these pens. At first I thought the ink was too gray for me, but when I painted with it I realized that I really like it. The ink flows smoothly and easily, and I love the variety of tips. Good choice! For wide lines I thought the B handle would be my idea but found I liked the SC handle better and even went through some

I'm glad I did

I've been using ink pens for decades and decided to give these Pitt pens a try. I'm glad I did. It's one thing that these pens come in a variety of "brush sizes," but they also use ink. I'm currently working on two pieces of art and for the first time in a long time I'm not using a reusable tech pen. In fact, I'm tired of refilling and cleaning technical pens. I have a brand new set of tech pens and only used 3 of them before discovering the Pitt pens. The ease of use, variety of brush sizes…

Love these pens so much!

So I Liked This Product? Yes, yes I have. Pens in question, did I like them? I loved her! At first I thought the XS would be my favorite pen, but I quickly realized that the F was great for literally all of my drawings. They have been great with these pens, I would highly recommend them to any aspiring artist or artist. I liked the price and the three new pens were amazing. The B was a great pen, but on the next three I used the SB and SC for writing fancy letters or practicing calligraphy…

But nice pens.

I love this pen set. A well stocked set for the price. It was a great way for me to try out some of the different styles of pen nibs and I will always need Indian ink black pigment pens so I can use them all. I was also able to see which pen or brush size I prefer and which I can do without. The chisel tips were a joy to try too. I will probably buy this set again just because I like having different types of black ink pens on hand. I wish they offered the same set in dark sepia. I like to use…
