NOT suitable for 2007 Ford F-150 5.4L V8 as advertised!

Waste of time! not suitable for 2007 ford f150 5.4l v8 as advertised! the magnet may fit, I'm not sure, but gourmet doesn't fit at all! I only realized it wasn't the same after I took the original off and saw the new one in the bag was NOT SIZED!

Only driven a few hundred miles

Installed on a 5.4 liter 3v engine after a timing overhaul. Ran it fine for about 500 miles but then got an extended trouble code P0011, bank 1. A quick test revealed the VCT sensor was stuck. Both sensors replaced with original Ford sensors. Spend the extra money and get OEM solenoids so you don't have to do the job twice like I did.

It worked perfectly, engine misfires stopped

Fuel consumption almost doubled and engine noise at idle stopped. Very hard work to install them. I had to remove the valve cover to replace mine. If you have large offset VTC bore seals, you're in luck, it probably takes 15 or 20 minutes to do the job. My setup included a very small gasket with a hole in the middle that required the valve cover to be removed. I was quoted a labor fee of $680 to install at a local shop, which is usually very reasonable in most cases, but in this case I decided…

I rarely write reviews, but I'm so pissed I had to speak up. Manufactured camshafts, tensioners, timing chain, oil pump. I used factory Ford parts for this. I bought these vvt magnets because I was trying to save some money. Those two crappy solenoids stopped working within 50 miles. They caused me a lot of heartache and set off multiple codes on my scanner and the truck started misbehaving after 1 hour of driving. He wouldn't even come home. Fits my 2009 F150. unfortunately the screw fell out

Although that's enough for my truck, the screws are easy to loosen. I watched a video of preventing drill bits from falling when replacing and took every precaution. With the 2nd valve, however, I accidentally unscrewed the screw and BAM! Below he went into the bottomless hole of the valve cover.
