Bought 4 times to get a working thermostat switch. 3 out of 4 were broken and arcing. Each time, just before the heat was released, sparks crackled. 75% of defective products are terrible.

This thermostat does not fit the skirting board heater it was paired with. The pad was too wide. So. I disassembled the FTA2A and drilled holes in the end cap of the new baseboard heater. , I have a small King 750w baseboard that we are converting from a bathroom to our greenhouse but I have not been able to find the right thermostat for it. This one looked pretty close and the price was very low so I gave it a try hoping it would fit. The metal plate was slightly wider than the blanking plate on the heater and the top and bottom flanges were slightly different, they were very close together. I flattened the flanges with a hammer on some thick steel I had and it fit pretty well.
