Description of πŸ›οΈ King Size Fairfield Poly Fil Hi Loft Polyester Batting

The 120" x 120" king size makes it the perfect batting for a lot of small projects, or one large bed quilt. Shows deep stitch definition making it perfect for quilts, duvets, and comforters. 100% Bonded Polyester with no added chemicals or fire retardants Weight: 6 oz. per square yard, loft about 1⁄2β€œ, quilting distance: 2" - 4". Quick Tip: Sometimes the polyester battings get wrinkled in the packaging - if laying the batting out to breath doesn't remove the wrinkles - you can put it in the dryer on LOW with a damp cloth just for a few minutes, and they should disappear.

Good Things: Sewing

Bought a blanket with scant cotton. I took it apart and added a layer of this poly fill and now it's beautiful! It is easy to handle and does not move.

Pros
  • Tip: Sometimes polyester batting will wrinkle in the package - if airing the batting doesn't remove wrinkles - you can tumble dry with a damp cloth on LOW for just a few minutes. , and they should go away
Cons
  • No machine

Terrible batting wrap

Normally a good product from your local fabric store but it was so compressed the filling was a horrible mess with uneven density. Spent more time spreading out the batting to make it even than sewing the rest of the blanket.

Pros
  • Presents a deep stitch definition making it ideal for quilts, comforters and quilts
Cons
  • Expensive
