I really like these gates: Safety

We needed a gate with a large opening to drive our new puppy into the den. The gates are easy to assemble, look very nice and safe.

Like Very nice looking gate

We went through 6 baby gates before we found this one. I like that there are many sizes. I love how it closes at the bottom and I love the fact that my 4 year old can't open it.

This Is The Gate - Gates And Gate Extensions

Once you lift it to extend, you can't level it to close properly. Another problem is that the extension pieces do not snap into place. So if you press on them hard enough they create a weak point and the gate moves and eventually opens.

You get what you pay for!

I bought this gate because we have a 55 inch bow. I've been a mother for 18 years. I have used many baby gates. This is the nicest thing I've ever used. It's strong, beautiful, self-closing, and has a door wide enough for me to walk forward instead of sideways! Installation was easy too! My son thought I screwed him to the floor because he was so strong! If you're on a fence, get off it. This is the one. Add to cart.

Love the durability

I finally pulled the trigger and purchased this baby gate after looking at numerous product reviews and having purchased other baby gates in the past. And let me tell you, it's priceless. It's long, strong, and has a large gate with two "locks" that make it difficult for small children to open it unintentionally. Excellent goods; I fully support that. Very easy to install but to keep your walls in good condition I suggest hiring a wall sitter.

Pretty good, best in gates and gate extensions

This was one of the few gate options that was this wide so I appreciate it. It's attractive and seems pretty safe. I once hung a pant leg over the base's small hem and the whole thing collapsed, but otherwise it accommodated both my 80-pound dog and two small children (separated, of course). I figured that I would like the door to either be able to be pushed to its maximum open position so it would stay open, or it would close automatically. However, the swing is quite stiff and makes loud…
