The instructions are strange at first. They tell you to "go" to an activation email address. That does not work. You have to email support for everything, even GPS features. I'm going abroad today and can't figure out if this thing works internationally. Support call is not answered. For the money we expect more. There are far better options. I'll send it back when I'm back from my trip.

This Family1st handheld device is so small and works wonders! I would recommend this product and services to anyone who wants to monitor their teens' driving habits. We have a new teenage driver at home and this device has helped us keep our cool while he's gone. It remains hidden under the passenger. seat and does its job wonderfully. Family1st support team is great and responds quickly no matter when I write to them.

As soon as this device charged it started tracking from my home, something I've never experienced with trackers before. I usually have to drive them in circles until the satellite "sees" them and creates a GPS lock. It was also nice not having to contact tech support if the tracking stops for whatever reason (like I've done with previous trackers). Tracking worked smoothly! I was impressed with the online manual for the tracker. It was easy to follow and very complete. I was able to set up the device very quickly. The tracker is used to plan and prepare school bus routes. We can get accurate time between stops and at stops to help drivers navigate efficient routes. It can be helpful for administrative staff to know where the buses are at all times. It also provides extra security for the school bus.
