Terrible Corkscrew, Do Not Buy!

According to my experience, this corkscrew is a complete waste of money. The bottle opener is flimsy and the corkscrew is difficult to use. I ended up damaging the cork and having bits of it fall into my wine, ruining the whole bottle.

I made the mistake of buying the cheapest wine cork

This type of wine cork is very easy to use and seals bottles well so they can also be stored on their side without leaking. Based on my friends experiences with these corks I went with the cheapest version, these classic Faberware wine corks. Within two weeks - on the third bottle of wine - one burst trying to cork the bottle and the plastic cork got into the wine. Now he's in the trash. Don't waste your money on this cheap useless product!

I've read all the reviews of each corkscrew and I've come to the conclusion that most of these people don't have enough experience opening wine bottles and corkscrews to give their opinion. I'm sorry but I could have said that before deciding on one so I was really scared to order it. The fact is I now live in a small college town and can't find it in any of the local stores.
