Handles keep water out of cutlery and knife accessories

The look of this knife set is perfect for my kitchen BUT when I was washing I found that water had somehow gotten into the groove of the handles and then dripped from the holder onto the counter.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • unreliable

You pay for what you get!

I don't care if it's handy, ergonomic or a gift. I never had to give up my old set while waiting for this one. It s cheap. Knives need to be sharpened after each use. Do not do that. Pay for a set that lasts because this one will be replaced once my money says it's ready!

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Working speed

Good knives for the money

Nice kitchen knife set. They are lightweight and easy to use. The blades stay sharp enough, and with the built-in sharpener, keeping them sharp is pretty easy. The only real complaint I have is that when washing hands the water gets caught in the handles and then seeps through the block onto the counter below the block. A little uncomfortable.

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Dollar Store Knife

Very thin blade that bends easily. You can see the groves where the blade was formed. The grips aren't strong and the "adhesive" material that replaced the stock is uneven and looks like it could fall apart at any moment. Super light and uncomfortable in the hand. You get what you pay for here. I don't know where such high ratings come from but we returned after it opened.

  • Few competitors

they rust. Not true Stainless steel

Not real stainless steel. It's been less than a few months and the blades are already rusty. I've had another set from the same company for over 10 years and it never did. The blades are sharp and the color is as pictured but it's really disappointing that they rust so quickly and easily. If I had known they are not real stainless steel and would rust, I would have chosen a different brand. Do not wash in the dishwasher as it is written that you can. They will rust.

Pros
  • Fits many people
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Handles hold water. Thin black paint and wood ridges.

Terrible. First time I washed a steak knife with a handle filled with water. 3 steak knives and large serrated knife handles were filled with water and I'm not sure I got it all out. Maybe something to grow indoors. The paint is so thin you can see through the wood and there were such large burrs (must not have been sanded off) that I had to remove them with a razor blade and sand them down myself. I will never buy this brand again. It used to be the gold standard. Now he has no authority in…

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to it
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Not worth the money

Looks like I received a used item. If not, the packaging process may require some work. The block itself was very dirty and covered in white stains. The knives themselves look very cheap. The way the blades are attached to the handles looks like they'll fall apart pretty easily. Glue or something else is not applied well or evenly. Washing these knives leaves water on the handles, which is very annoying and probably unsanitary. Didn't try to cut anything but they seem sharp. For the money I…
