Not the quality I was expecting

I fitted this to my jeep yesterday. batter so I thought this would be perfect. When installing it I decided to move one of the wires from one of the terminals to the other and when I tried to loosen one of the nuts it got stuck. Now the nut was frozen to the post and the cable was loose so I had to cut it with a hacksaw. I'm not new to mechanics and didn't over tighten. Just very bad quality or I got a lemon. The other three bolts and nuts appear to be in good working order, wouldn't buy again.

Pros
  • Unit measures 6.5 x 1.5 x 2 inches and is rated for 250 amps at 12vdc
Cons
  • Doubtful

Excellent quality: electrical equipment

I was building what is called a 'solar generator' and needed a good power busbar rated at least 200 amps. This bus also has four 3/8 stud and three 20A screw terminals. They are easy to install and work great. I have a 12 volt cigarette lighter/USB outlet, a 45 amp AC charger, a solar charge controller, everything is hooked up to this bus. This is the perfect power distribution solution for my project. It is very reliable, extremely versatile and delivers a maximum output of up to 250 amps. The

Pros
  • Nickel plated brass busbar and stainless steel fittings to increase power transmission
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Great tire for any RV project

Ordered these in black and red to redo the pathetic OEM gear on my A frame camper. Everything about the electrics was a random nut and taped disaster. With these sticks I was able to repeat everything a lot less haphazardly, hook up a solar controller and generally clean up and make any future projects much easier to install. Troubleshooting is also greatly improved. One thing to keep in mind when buying: These aren't just 4x larger stakes. There are also 3x smaller screws for smaller…

Pros
  • 3 extra 20Amp screw terminals for smaller ground wires
Cons
  • Crumpled

Scraped plastic and a broken screw.

Will not be downgraded to 1 star as this is my second connection pin and I had no problems with the first. , but I had a pretty bad experience with this last link post I ordered. First, the plastic hex recess for the first bolt didn't hold the head when I tightened the nut and the bolt head spun in the recess. I had to remove the metal cover to access the bolt head when trying to loosen the nut. When I then tried to loosen it, the nut jammed and the bolt broke. I was able to unlock a single…
