Cheap hitch cover insurance

Will not split when installed. Nevertheless, the work has not fallen off. Should cushion hits on the trailer hitch. Not the best product.

Pros
  • SHIELD GUARD fits 2-5/6β€³ and 2β€³ hitch balls on balls up to 2-1/2β€³ wide
Cons
  • Almost never

ball must be removed to put on

Buy cheap, buy cheap. Not much padding if you bump your foot. plus a lot of work to install it. It will most likely end up in my trash can.

Pros
  • Available in three colors: black for blending and high visibility orange or yellow
Cons
  • Repair

Works perfectly. Installation wasn't that difficult.

I read other reviews before buying and they said how difficult it is to install. I found that a little dish soap with some water made it easier to slide like we always do with handlebar wheels. The soap dries and the coating seems to be sticking. πŸ˜€

Pros
  • Helps protect your shins when behind a truck

Breaks off during installation

The bottom came loose when trying to put it on the hitch. I had to close the gap with self-adhesive velcro. I doubt it will last very long. Don't waste money.

Pros
  • Protects your shins when behind a truck
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
