Working great. installed in a pressure treated 2x10. Easily holds anything from a small balance bike to a youth BMX bike to an adult mountain bike. I've even used 2 of these in 4x4 fence posts angled to hold a 17ft aluminum canoe.

Received a completely empty package. When I tried to return it I was asked to return it even though I had nothing to return and couldn't prove it. Second time bought and all bike hooks were in perfect condition. And could delay bikes and fruit baskets. However, I can't give 5 stars because I had to pay twice as much.

I installed this in a friend's garage for him to hang his bikes on. They work great but expect pilot holes to be drilled. Some people have left bad reviews about these things after trying to install them without drilling any pilot holes. Such people should not be allowed to write product reviews. Or breed.

Be careful. The hooks are much smaller than stated in the description. They are said to be 6.9 x 5.3 x 7.0 inches. They measure about 6.9 inches from the top of the screw to the bottom of the hook, but the size across the hook is less than 2.5 inches, not 5.3 inches. They seem quite heavy so let's try to decide if we can find a use for them or return them since we can't use them as intended.

I bought a set of 12 of these hooks and am happy with the 6 I've installed. I installed them on the bottom edge of the 2x4 joists in my shed. I pre-drilled the holes and was able to mount the hooks by hand (by screwing them in). There were no issues in terms of tightness and the hooks easily held the bikes without any flex. I'm not worried about what they pull out of the forest.

I should have read the reviews more carefully. For some reason they don't screw in as quickly as other similar products I've used before. I actually had to take out the one I had installed earlier, screw it all the way in, and then insert this one. If I wasn't determined to finish my garage I would return it. Not very hard work - the first hook kept bending and starting to pull out of the stand (not drywall so it was definitely in the middle of the stand) and held under 60 pounds for a short time, much less than 105 pounds stated in the description when i ordered.
