The first box looked like someone was going to play football with it and the chalk was completely destroyed along with the wooden stand. I immediately requested a replacement and within a week the new item was delivered with no problems. Good job fixing the problem and the product is very good in my playroom!

Simplicity and reliability. A good product. Note I didn't include any instructions which seem almost unnecessary but it took me a while to figure out that the base is connected to the back with a dovetail joint, not a simple mortise and chord so you can't just glue two parts. together they should slide together. 6 stars if they attach a little piece of paper showing this so I don't have to figure it out.

I unpacked this part and first impression was light, different color (redder tint/but didn't bother me). The center piece that the chalk sits on is as easy as screwing it on, except the insert came loose almost immediately and started spinning freely. I can't take it off to fix it and I can't get it to go any deeper. I took some Loctite and squeezed a few drops underneath hoping it would help hold it in place a little more. Will definitely stay away from this product.
