🚽 Durable and Stylish DELTA 79750 Cassidy Toilet Paper Holder in Polished Chrome Review

I bought this hoping it would go with my gold Delta sink. I made sure to buy the same brand and color but the gold is much softer than the sink. It's very durable as you would expect and looks great. However, be careful if you want the color to match other Delta products.

I am returning it for three reasons. 1) On arrival there was somehow a tiny set screw stuck in the rod which rattled but refused to come out. 2) Left arm extension is not regulated. This is against the rules as our toilet layout requires the napkin to be pulled off the roll to the right, which pulls the TP completely out of that holder. 3) If you enlarge the photo, the ORB metal looks matte. It's not, it's very shiny, which doesn't match my other lights.

Within a week the plank came loose and sagged and fell straight to the ground when the paper was grabbed. The inner joint is hollow so I fixed it by plugging it with fiberglass and gluing it together. It's durable now, but I'm sure it won't last forever. I find the processing really ok. It matches some of the more expensive polished nickel pieces I have. Aside from the loose bar, it's really good. If I need to replace it, I get a two-sided, spring-loaded dispenser.

This napkin holder arm is not stable. To mount it on a wall mount, tighten the set screw on the bottom of the mount. When I tightened the screw as instructed, the bracket came loose from the wall. I called the company and sent another one as I thought the first one might be damaged but when it arrived I saw the design was the same but with the same problem. I am surprised Delta is selling this product as I have always bought Delta products and found great quality and service from them.

This is MY KIND of toilet paper holder. IMHO there is no point in having spring loaded models coming out of their mounts or losing tension and falling out of their mounts. THIS IS THE ONLY type of toilet paper holder for me. It's a little SHINE, but it's a POLISHED NICKEL. I can't tell you how happy I am with our Delta Cassidy accessories. I was apprehensive about buying a toilet paper rod, but it's very strong and doesn't move up the wall at all. Husband had no trouble installing and my daughter can change the toilet paper herself! Very nice toilet roll holder. I use it as a towel rack next to the sink. That works great. I had no set screw and went to the site and told them. I also told them on Amazon and they immediately sent me one, actually two. The only complaint I have is that the set screw could have been a bit longer to make it a little more secure, but it helps because I don't pull on it. Champagne bronze does not match photo. It is not bright, rich and juicy golden, as in the photos. It's very dark and colourful. I was trying to find the right hardware for the other items I bought for my bathroom and nothing matched. It looked perfect online, but it's not at all close in person. I'm so glad I chose Delta Cassidy mounts and this TP mount is my favorite.
