Nasty sticky dirt gets smeared on it

Seems good enough. That's a sharp blade. Not sure if it's worth the cost or hassle of packaging. Each blade is individually wrapped and lubricated with a thick, sticky adhesive that won't mess up your razor. I've been looking for it and Feather fans say it doesn't really matter. Well, that's fine with them, but I don't want to have to deal with this every time I shave or add an extra reason to clean my shaving head of dirt. I gave them away and bought some Russian made Voskhods, super sharp and

Are they really the hottest?

When I received my first DE razor handle, the rep personally recommended Wilkinson Sword blades. Judging by the reviews, they were a little more expensive than the cheapest, but it was worth it. I ordered a pack of 100 for $12 expecting 2 years of WS shaving. After a while I couldn't help but recall various reviews claiming Feather Blades to be the sharpest. Remembering that $12 isn't a lot of money, my curiosity prompted me to order 50 packs of Feather to see for myself. Having been using WS…

Really effective blade 👍👍

They're sharp! I've been using the wet shave for a little over a month. 1. Shave with Vikings blades👌 No cuts or cuts. 1. Use with "Feather Blades" razors for beginners USE A NON-AGGRESSIVE RAZOR! A: I always use oil before shaving. 1st, 2nd and 3rd pass. 1) walking slowly, feeling like it's not that scary. 2) Only 2 passes (sensitive skin like mine), 3 light irritations if you can. But no cuts. 3) Alum block, then witch hazel, then after shave. I have perfected my touch/technique although I…

Blemishes and pimples? Don't be afraid of the pen

Let me start by saying that I have adult acne and initially these blades damaged my face/neck. But I found a solution that works for me. I use shaving oil instead of shaving cream. This allows me to shave and avoid uneven skin areas. As a result, the number of acne has decreased and the overall cleanliness of the skin has improved. Background: I used to use Mach 3 razors, but I had to change cartridges frequently to avoid skin irritation. I tried switching to an electric razor and saw a…

Sharpness is smooth

These blades have long been described as the sharpest blades in the world and made me think that sharpness meant the risk of scratches and cuts. Only if you are applying excessive shaving pressure. I've tried at least half a dozen brands of blades over the past 10 years. I no longer need to roam the wilds of blades. Sharpness means smoothness and an unmatched shave of the face and head. The key to avoiding scratches and cuts is a very light touch on the razor and taking your time in…

Quality blades fit cartridges and refills

These are good razors. I have thick facial hair and a sensitive neck, so I need a sharp razor when I shave. I have a beard on my face so I only use them to shave under my neck and I am very happy with their performance. The packaging must contain clean, unused blades. They move too much and slipped out of the plastic container when I tipped them over. The blades seem to dull quickly, but it's still great value for money with so many blades included. I absolutely recommend them for cheaper…

Thin and very sharp blades

Japanese stainless steel is unbeatable for sharpness as these blades surpass German blades for sharpness and durability. After using them (mentioned by a friend Matt - rest his soul) I was hooked and have been using them ever since. knowing this until the blood flows how sharp they are. I usually buy for about a year. 2+ packs of 50 blades.

Quality Control Issues?

I've only shaved with feathers for years, but I'm starting to notice an awkward pattern. One razor lasts me a week of daily shaving, the other just two or three. With some I have even found that one side of the razor (eg side I) is significantly better than the other (side II). I just shaved my side this week and it was great. Page II was unbearable from the moment I tried it, so I quickly switched back to Page I. What explains this inconsistency? I wouldn't mind if it happened every now and…
