When I received my first DE razor handle, the rep personally recommended Wilkinson Sword blades. Judging by the reviews, they were a little more expensive than the cheapest, but it was worth it. I ordered a pack of 100 for $12 expecting 2 years of WS shaving. After a while I couldn't help but recall various reviews claiming Feather Blades to be the sharpest. Remembering that $12 isn't a lot of money, my curiosity prompted me to order 50 packs of Feather to see for myself. Having been using WS blades for a few months now, I feel justified in making a Reflex comparison with another brand. I honestly can't tell any difference. Feather blades don't feel revolutionary sharp like many reviews suggest. I have a feeling there can be a very, very small, almost imperceptible difference in sharpness. I don't think you can award gold medals for sharpness when it seems like the difference between top brands is almost zero. They're very sharp, but if you shave your head like me, you'll need to do more than one pass, even against the strand of hair. These aren't magic bullets. I give them the same 4 stars as WS Messer.
