So far so good, best air freshener

I use these plug-ins at a minimal level to eliminate cat litter odors on both floors of my house. I added a third unit to the downstairs bathroom. On the lowest setting the smell is noticeable and I hope it doesn't get too strong for all my cats. I have 6 - 4 mostly timbered - and 4 trays. So if these devices deodorize as advertised, they have a lifelong fan for the Febreeze product. Update: Works GREAT!

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Go away

Great in a week.

My home office is also a pantry, so it's not the worst room on the planet. But I used to use air fresheners and they always made me sick. It doesn't help that I once got a stomach flu from using a certain air freshener and now associate that cone with the scent of berries with vomit. So I didn't have high hopes. But I bought it anyway and tried it. I turned it down to its lowest setting first and within 5 minutes the 300 SF room was so stinky I almost sent it back! However, I gave him a few…

When the smell needs to be subtle

After the first five minutes of use, I didn't notice any smell at all. Thinking it was my Schnoz, I asked everyone who came up to me if they smelled of anything, no. I haven't progressed to the second fill yet, but the first is definitely shrinking in volume, so let's assume some odorless oil is heating up or evaporating. The plugin heats up from time to time, so I assume it's working. Strangely I use the same fragrance in the car and I have to turn it on the lowest setting and open the windows

Pros
  • Plug-in air freshener with two rotating, complementary aroma chambers that provide 1200 hours of freshness
Cons
  • Very expensive

Solves the odor problem

I cook 2 or more servings for my cats a day. The stinkier the food, the better. I've tried many pine-scented products that don't last long, are too expensive, and one of them seemed to be a waxy product that collects in my lungs. Fabreeze works great in my litter box. I plugged it in and set it to the lowest setting* (off?). It excellently eliminates the smell of canned fish in the bag and does not harm cats. At worst, it's like walking down the detergent aisle at the grocery store (which I…

Overwhelming, Nausea, Difficulty breathing

The odor of this product is overwhelming and nauseating. It got rid of the weird smell in my new apartment, but it gave me a headache, shortness of breath, and nausea. I unplugged it after two days and a week has passed and the smell still hasn't gone away. When I left it on the window sill the product leaked and dissolved the paint which makes me very concerned about the chemicals in it and what I've inhaled over the past week. I do not recommend this product to anyone, especially those who…
