Seems to mask odors only temporarily

I used to use this product fairly regularly for various cleaning purposes but it is not an odor killer as stated on the bottle. It just masks odors. The quality of the product or recipe must have changed over the years. This particular Febreze seems a bit watered down and a lot less effective than it was a few years ago. So first, let's be clear that these 16-ounce sprayers hold the same amount of liquid as a medium-sized water bottle, which you can pick up 24 packs of at any grocery store for less than $4 each bottle would buy.
