Looks good, I'll appreciate it. But those are all sharp, jagged edges. Whole, so it doesn't look like it could be sanded down. It's like it's coming out of the mold in production, and there should be a step where they smooth the edges of the mold, but they skip that part. It would tear the scales and fins of my rooster's tail. I can't imagine it would be better for other fish.

My Fish Loves This UPDATE: As my fish got bigger and tried to swim through it snapped its fins. I tried to sand it down for about half an hour but then I noticed how many sharp edges there were so I threw it away. If you have a beta version, don't buy it. I recommend you go to the store and feel the product you are going to buy. I also recommend a live plant! My fish are much healthier.

Nice looking but sharp. My rooster, the Duchess, injured his eye with this ornament, and in a few weeks he doubled in size. I had to buy special medicinal drops and permanently remove all decorations from her tank. I was afraid she was going to die and to be honest I have no idea if she's blind in one eye now. Now I use an exceptionally soft floral fabric decoration. Please be careful! Sand down this decoration when you need to use it, or just find an alternative that won't harm your betta!

Very cheap looking, overpriced SHARP and not heavy enough to stay in one place. It's thin and hollow. The only advantage is that it can look good in an aquarium. While it looks good, it's small, cheap, and doesn't cost more than $4 or $5. Whenever I dip my hand in the water and lightly touch the "stone ornament", it moves around the aquarium. My energetic goldfish keep him moving while swimming and foraging for food. Some reviews say they simply ground the stone down because of the sharp edges.
