Better than factory

Replaced the original gasket with this after detecting a leak. This gasket was thicker and provided excellent sealing of the sump and block. No more leak!

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It took me about 3 hours to get it off and then it took.

Fits my integra. I had a problem removing the old one. It took about 3 hours to take it off while it only took 10 minutes to get it.

Pros
  • Quality assembly
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Seals very well, no more leakage

I thought the gasket would be lost and not adapt perfectly to the contour of the oil pan, but I was wrong, it fits perfectly, don't overtighten as it always crushes the gasket too, better add some RTV

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Functionality

Cool blue colour, no oil leakage

No leaks after 1000 km! Cleaning the old gasket off the oil pan was agony. Took hours. I have to admit that the specified torque for the oil pan bolts seems a little high, so I settled for around 90 lb-ft. After 5,000 km I check the tightness of the screws again. Very nice blue color. Not sure if blue is better but looks cool.

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • Some small things

Mine didn't fit the oil pan snugly, the gasket was at that angle. This means that there are irregularities when tightening. Torque to specification and will leak when warmed up. No, I have to do this job all over again and I'm pretty damn sure I won't get a refund. Do yourself a favor and buy another Fel-Pro pad that doesn't flex like this one.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Skinny

Fits perfectly. Easy installation. I'll update if it leaks.

Gasket fits perfectly. Installed on my 1998 Honda CR-V 2.0L (B20B4). I tried my best not to over-tighten the bolts, no torque wrench went that low, hard to guess, 8.7 ft-lbs. I used a shorter 3/8" ratchet with a flexible head extension and hand tightened everything to the head of the ratchet. with front cover and gearbox. That's all. No more glue. If the oil pan leaks, I'll let you know. a state-certified master mechanic with over 40 years of experience, but a diesel engine mechanic with less…

It's a silicone, not a rubber seal, and a must have.

This is a silicone gasket, not a rubber gasket, and must be installed so that both surfaces are dry. no oil or glue to hold the seal in place. The original gasket has a pair of metal washers that attach to studs near the transmission side of the oil pan gasket. Save and reuse them if you can. Apply a very small amount of RTV (silicone) fluid to the seams where the covers attach to the block. comes from overtightening the screws. Tighten until you see the gasket protruding about 0.3mm (not very…
