Works perfectly. The leaking valve cover went dry.

Works great. A leaking valve cover would dry up in just an hour or two (most of the time was spent cleaning the old gasket and valve cover). Don't forget to use Permatex for two pours!

Fixed oil leak on my spares

Seems to work fine once I actually get it in the valve cover. At first I thought it was too big, but after the second attempt to fit it into the valve cover I managed to fit it. The trick seems to be not to stretch it too much when you insert it into the groove on the lid.

Was 1/2 " larger for a 2001 Saturn SC2 - had to trim it down and use a liquid gasket

I installed this on my 2001 Saturn SC2 and was about 1/2" larger. As I was unable to return this item as it was non-returnable after opening the packaging, I simply cut off 1/2 inch of the gasket and filled any gaps with liquid sealant. Very disappointed again that Revain stated it was appropriate but it wasn't. Glad I checked it for leaks and after two weeks of constant use none were found.

Fits best in seals

Just fitted this to my '02 SL2, fits perfectly and works great. The rubber is brand new, not hard at all and not stiff. If you are replacing this gasket, make sure you have some RTV to reinforce the seam between the timing chain cover and the valve head. The last person who installed this seal on the SL2 didn't (despite the instructions clearly asking for it) and messed up the old seal. If you plan on taking the lid off (which I did) you'll also need an RTV to reseal the metal vents.

Prepare for returns and have a plan b

Absolutely Terrible. The gasket didn't fit - too big for the lid. It was extremely uncomfortable considering my car was dismantled. To make matters worse, I tried to get it from my local auto parts store. It was too big for me and I had to send it back. The second store I went to didn't stock it. A third store had one - same brand and SKU - and it was a perfect match. They must have been of poor quality. If that's the case, Felpro needs to retire really bad batches to save people theโ€ฆ
