Do not buy this kettle. Worked well for 2 1/2 months. Then one day it just stopped working. Didn't heat the water at all. Yes, there's a guarantee, but who needs that hassle in less than three months, especially since this kettle costs twice as much as other comparable kettles from better manufacturers. Looks great, very disappointing.

Nice teapot but defective and dangerous. When filling water even below the maximum fill line, it spits boiling water out of both the spout and the lid. It is very dangerous for an unsuspecting person standing there, soon boiling water will pour out of the kettle. The seller did not want to return this item but Revain provide excellent customer service to ensure the refund is issued. This is an expensive kettle and the seller is unhelpful.

In general the kettle is excellent. It's fast, it's easy, it's attractive, if in essence there is no kettle in my opinion. In my opinion, it has the most important function for a kettle: continuous temperature adjustment depending on the degree. It reaches 104°, which I sometimes use. It's really well thought out and executed for the most part, so I'll pick it a bit harder where I think it's falling short. My only issue with it is the handle, grip and top cap.
