Great Shredder: Other Office Equipment

This is such an improvement over the old one we had. Maybe it's because the blades are sharp, but this thing will eat anything. It's a lot quieter than the old one, although I can't say it's super quiet. The sound of the paper itself makes up most of the noise.

Pros
  • Easy to Install
Cons
  • No Instructions

That's a beast. Quieter than my last.

This thing is a beast. Quieter than my last one which had a lot less horsepower. I haven't gotten stuck yet. Although my wife can kill any shredder. She managed to seal something with sticky glue and now it's difficult to feed papers. But you can't blame the document shredder for that.

Pros
  • Big selection
Cons
  • Some problems

This is the best chopper I have ever owned

This is the best chopper I have ever owned. I've destroyed a moderate amount in my office and I've burned about 4 in 13 years. I have a feeling this one will last the longest. Extremely easy to use. I try not to destroy more than 8 pages at a time and usually do 6 at a time. zero problems

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not the best

This shredder is a workhorse!

This paper shredder is a real beast that chews up paper, paper clips, CDs and credit cards. The price might seem higher than other shredders, but this machine is a real powerhouse and worth every penny. The bin also has a good capacity, although I wish the inner bin could be lined with a bin liner to make emptying easier and less messy.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Clarity

Nom Nom Nom on Office Electronics

I feed this thing all my Amazon boxes and all our papers and it eats it all up. I oiled it which I think is part of the key to its durability. I tried feeding it 1/4 inch paper, it didn't get through the paper clip or through. Also, the container might get a little weird when put back, but it's good quality. No question good value for money.

Excellent Shredder: Other Office Equipment

I've learned a valuable lesson. I've had one before and have never used blade oil. Well, one day it stopped working. I bought another one as I use it so often and it works so well, only this time I'm using oil. The instructions say to oil the blades every time you shake out a container of shredded paper. These are very important instructions. Don't forget to buy oil and use it.

So far so good - chopper

This appears to be an improvement over the previous Fellowes chopper which lasted four years. This is a larger and heavier model. It works quietly and easily chews the shredded material. The design is rather poor as it's a bit difficult to put the empty canister back in place after emptying. The top (shop end) is quite heavy. My relationship with shredders is love/hate. Even if I follow all the manufacturer's recommendations, I've never had one for more than four years of regular use. I…

I'm giving one star for Revain's poor shipping packaging

Although the shredder works well, it was shipped in retail packaging with minimal protection. This is a very heavy device and most of the weight is on the head while the rest of the device is hollow plastic. Upon unpacking and inspecting, we found that the front door containing the paper bin had a crack and would not close. This is important because the front door also activates the headlock. . Rather than messing around with returns or finding a replacement, we simply wrapped a bungee cord…
