Worth the money - kitchen and dining room

Can't beat the price. The adjustable gap makes grinding malted and unmalted grain a breeze. Fair warning as the edges are as sharp as this windmill looks ;)

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some bugs

Bearings instead of bushings

Really good grinder. Unfortunately, they don't indicate that it has stock because that's an important feature. Bearings last much longer than bushings.

Pros
  • Suitable for many
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Definitely worth the investment

This grinder can be adjusted very easily and precisely, making it perfect for whatever type of malt you want to process. Attaching an electric drill to a power reel is an incredible time saver. Having bearings instead of bushings means it will last a very long time.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Style 90

The handle is just what you need

Pretty easy to assemble. It is best to remove the blue film before assembly. Used the seeder at low speed and found it didn't have enough torque to break up the grain, had to adjust the rollers and do multiple passes of the grain. The next group used the pen and had a good crush on the first pass, but it was a lot slower.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Good product, great customer service!

The product looks good and works well. Easy to assemble and change the adjustable setting. Plug in your drill and grind effortlessly. I ground 16 pounds in ten minutes. Support was quick to respond to a small cosmetic issue. When contacted, they apologized and were interested in making things right. + how it was handled. I highly recommend this product!

Need gears connecting two rollers

My first impression was that it was heavy, thick metal. The blue in the picture has come off, this is a sticker so it doesn't scratch the metal. This is definitely a better result than a food processor. The only downside is that the handle/drill only connects to one reel. Sometimes another roller gets stuck and stops working. You have to put your hand underneath to spin the reel to get it loose. Very annoying. When it works (with a drill) it mills quickly. If it had two gears connecting two…

Exactly what I needed in about a quarter of the time I expected.

This is a high quality product. It's not as big as it looks in the pictures, but unless you're making 40 gallons it should work just fine. Even then it will work. They will fill the bunker just a little bit. Double sided stepless adjustment via camshaft (ie adjusting discs increase in distance for rotation 540 degrees and then decrease and increase again. No stops.), Solid/heavy duty knurled rollers and bearings and no bushings. Also, the sides of the rollers are machined aluminum rather than…

Good and bad after assembly

The box arrived and was smaller than expected. The mill was the expected size, but the bunker seemed small. E needs to see if he can hold the initial 7lbs. Added a photo of a typical beer glass for reference for home brewers. I like the idea of the blue protective cover, but it was difficult to remove and required disassembling the grinder. I would still have to do it since it was backwards for a typical hand crank. No real problem. Easy enough to complete. The company logo ends up on the back…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
