Inexpensive tool kit

I ordered this kit to replace the one I left behind at my old work place. No one would ever confuse them with Weidmuller tips but for the price they work great in many less essential applications around the home, car etc.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Some little things

Excellent quality for the money

I was very impressed with the crimper. I put the plugs straight into the crimping tool, they crimped and stayed. The tool is very strong and heavy and I was surprised because I bought similar tools and they were cheap and fragile. I'll see if they have any other tools like this one.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Great tool for making electrical connections in tight spaces

I am very happy with this purchase. I stripped five wires, spliced the ends, and then started trying each connection to make sure it was the right one. I didn't have to twist the wires so I could try a different connection. I highly recommend this product. I have enough "ends" for life.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • not reliable

Perfect for hobbyists

There are so many of these at Revain but a combination of reviews and the number of ferules included at this price point led me to this one. I originally used it for my 3D printers to replace tinned wires in screw terminals with crimped spade lugs as tinned wires can loosen over time. The crimper works well and the number of tips of different sizes lasts a long time. 5 Stars.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not sure

If you do the wiring you'll get

I've been in electronics for over 25 years and I've always twisted wires together to put them in terminals, hey it worked. Sometimes a strand stuck out and I had to reconnect or cut the strand. So, I got these tips at the suggestion of a friend and a boy, what's the difference, putting the wire in the tip and crimping. No more wasted strands, no more frayed wire ends getting plugged into speaker terminals or circuit boards. Just get it.

Pros
  • High marks for tester support and durability
Cons
  • Negative gift

Ease of use meets my needs

I'm not quite sure how to rate the quality of the tool as it's the first tool I've ever used and it seems good enough for my amateur needs too be. The selection of ferrules was more than sufficient for my project. In case you are wondering, I used it to replace the soldered ends of the cable going to my Ender 3 V2's motherboard as this was to help with safety and reliability and as I was there to build a silent fan mod and make some wiring. will modify it. Overall, it's easy to use and comes in

Very good product: power tools and hand tools

Crimping tool and ferrules arrived in good condition as promised. The items were exactly as described. The crimper and tips work perfectly. Tips make it easier to work with stranded wire. A note: in some cases, the tips don't go far enough into the connection to make contact. The insulated tip area makes the open length too short. I have found it very easy to remove the insulation with pliers. Without isolation, I haven't found any connection that doesn't work with these tips. I would recommend

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Expensive

Crimp 6 gauge. suitable for hand tools

I've tried to avoid "square" crimping machines, but most of my choices either had less throughput or were prohibitively expensive. Copper 6AWG. Some of my connections were "weld wire", with thinner strands and more flexibility than the Romex. The wire barely fit into the ferrule but I had to remove the insulating caps as they did not fit over the wire jacket. However, since they terminate in a terminal block, protection is maintained even without the insulating caps. Squeezing the ferrule under

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • No Capacity

It makes life a lot easier

I don't work much with terminals, but several times I've always been annoyed with strands, unwinding and shorting on the next block. This was particularly bad for Chinese 3D printers, which had the ends tinned with solder for easier installation in the terminal. After a while the solder would either melt or come loose, shorting the block and frying. The solution was to snip off the ends and run the freshly stripped ends through small sections, which was a nightmare at best. absolutely amazing…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Vulgarity
