Fits as expected but my 6 year old found it too tight and hurt the top of his foot. It is difficult for her to dress and act alone. As a result, I gave the child 5 years. She wasn't in pain. I bought these for my 3 year old. This shoe is beautiful and breathable, dries quickly after getting wet and conforms to your child's foot. They can be a little tricky to put on, but that's how most water boots are designed. My little one loves the pink color and can even put it on by herself without adjusting the strap.
