Festool 496187 CT 26 Selfclean Filter Bag - Pack of 5 Review

I like the Festool system because of the vacuum cleaner and in combination with the attachments and tools I can keep my work space clean and tidy. The bags fill with use and need to be replaced. These replacement vacuum bags were well packaged and on time. Festool quality and works well with my system.

Festool quality reprocessed into a vacuum filter bag. If you know the product line, you know what that means. The system is amazing, not least because of those pockets. You can empty a shop vacuum with these bags in the best of rags without getting soiled with dust or dirt. The inside of the vacuum cleaner looks like new. There are no leaks at all.

These bags work great! You will be completely filled, almost 98%. Yes, Festool is expensive, but the lack of dust in your lungs makes it worth it! Don't think you can throw it away and reuse it! You can, but then you'll be able to breathe into your lungs all the dust you missed sanding! I tried it, it's hard to pour! I was covered in dust when I finished!

There is nothing bad to say about this whole dust extraction system. Each component works together, the bag fills with dust and small items until the bag is full. After filling the system you will find that the system has packed the material so that the bag is completely filled forming a rock hard bundle which is removed and a new bag installed. A filled bag cannot and should not be emptied.

First time using this CT 26 for plaster/turning removal. I pulled out the first self-cleaning filter bag and I'm thrilled. So I had about 800 SF drywall jobs. I had a CT 26 which I used extensively for a whole day at work. I have a bag change (or several) in mind that will be necessary over the course of this work. I'm done with all of my drywall, including all the associated sanding work. If I were using the little Nilfisk UZ934, I would have killed a few filter bags.
