Paper, not the usual flimsy metal substitute I've always used in the past. Paper sags when wet. Which is odd as they are clearly designed to get wet. It sags and doesn't fill the space.

Waste of money. There was a puddle of water on the floor near the firebox and it was discovered that the gasket had buckled and fallen out of the frame. Bought 2 packs for 2 ovens and the other is the same. just trash.

They appeared to be the same but they are of poor quality and are falling apart. This is after a month. My basement flooded my furnace because of these scrap pieces. Do not buy! They are not reinforced enough to withstand the water they ingest and force air onto them. Stick to the more expensive brand.

I bought a set with two such filters. Both failed, water spilling on the oven floor. Both assembled correctly and collapsed when wet. Definitely a very defective item. The image shows what the product looked like when it was removed from the wet bin.

My humidifier seemed to leak water all over my floor so I opened it up and sure enough my filter fell apart and water seeped into an area I didn't have a drain on Humidifier. I replaced the filter with a second one, but at this point I should have just bought a better filter and saved myself the hassle.

The product is too short and will slide/suck out of its mount in my Aprilaire 550. Both filters failed within a month of installation resulting in a water leak preventing the filter/panel from filling and dripping from the humidifier onto the floor. I tried pulling and stretching the filter plate to get to the top of the holder but that didn't work. Use BestAir filters from now on (do not fit and do not leak)

I bought this for my Honeywell HE240 humidifier. The manual says to order the HC22P filter. This product's packaging says it matches "Compare to HC22P" but is an inch smaller so the airflow pushes it into the duct opening. I bought a Honeywell brand filter, compared it to this one and it's definitely an inch smaller so it doesn't stay in the frame. Of course I can't return it.

I bought these from Amazon to replace the HC22P. After trying it for a month, I will not buy it again and I do not recommend this product. The pad was too small and as it soaked up water it started falling out of its holder. I tried to attach it with tape but it kept happening and falling apart. Separate layers also diverged. I have never had problems like this in over 10 years of buying Honeywell brand pads. And left the same setting on the humidifier handle. In fact, we had a warmer winter…
