Decent trunk mat, especially considering the price (<$20). Not perfect for my Kia Soul but good enough to keep using it. It's easy to cut even outside of the pre-drawn lines needed to fit my car. I guess that might mean it's not very hard work, but for protecting my cargo hold from spilled groceries or wet towels and sand from the beach, it works.

Purchased for Mazda CX-5. It has a smaller cargo area than other mid-size SUVs, so I wanted a smaller mat. I would be perfectly happy with one that only fits mid-section but fits perfectly front to back. Side by side is actually a little more than floor space and rises a bit on the sides, which is actually even better. You can cut, but you don't have to. It is a fairly thick rubber and of good quality, it is inserted and laid flat. For the price it couldn't be better.

I was really impressed with this. For $25 I had pretty low expectations. In general, I found it better than no paneling in the trunk. To be honest, I was amazed at how heavy the box was when it arrived. The quality and thickness exceeded my expectations by 2-3 times. Very significant. It was easy to adapt to the interior of my car - 10 minutes max. The only feature it lacks is a raised lip to catch big spills. Be prepared to pay $140 for a true custom rug. This fits my needs perfectly. :D

Purchased for our 2018 Honda HR-V. Choose this one because it was designed for small SUVs (HR-V is a crossover/compact SUV). It was even bigger, so I cut it off. Very easy. I wanted it to be slightly raised around the edges to better protect the car if a spill occurs. I made cuts in the tire area because I didn't want to cut grooves/guides. I can decide later. On the left the pieces I cut off for reference. I just realized I need to cut holes for the cargo hooks. I will wait until it is needed.

My main criticism of this is that I ordered it for my car. The order description options said it would fit my specific car. It doesn't fit my car! But I didn't feel like taking it out again and dealing with all the returns etc etc. However, the parts of my trunk that it covers are covered very well. If it really fits, I can only recommend it. It's thin, so at first I doubted its quality. I load items in and out of my trunk on a daily basis as I move from job to job and it is very well protected

Update: Although the manufacturer offered to fix it, it was too much trouble, but I'll add a star to the Rating because the smell disappeared after a week or two (I realized yesterday that I hadn't felt it for a long time). This is a very good price and will protect your carpet. I installed mine in my seven seater Kia Sotento. He's pretty thin. Easily trimmed with scissors with pre-formed channels without looking messy or untidy. My SUV is not small and I still had to cut two rows on each side.
